I began playing tennis at the age of 8, and soon became interested in competing and
played the Surrey Junior Tournament circuit. I later went on to compete at Nationals
and Junior Wimbledon whilst representing the County.
My claim to fame is that, at the age of 12, I beat Andrew Castle in a Junior Tournament. He never looked back after that defeat, going on to become British no 1, a presenter on TV am etc etc. Well, maybe I should have thrown that game and who knows!!
I am an experienced Lawn Tennis Association full time Coach, Licensed and qualified to CCA (performance) Level 2. For the past 6 years I was teaching in Bolton at an Academy School linked to Bolton Arena and Lostock Tennis Club. During this time I was fortunate to work with some exceptionally gifted nationally ranked ITF juniors, as well as a variety of keen club players, both individually and on a squad basis.
I have a real passion for the game,
enjoy coaching at all ability levels, and believe in a rounded holistic approach to teaching both the inner and outer game of tennis. I look forward to meeting you.
